You don't need to travel terribly far to visit outer space. In fact, you can get a taste of the cosmos right in New Jersey.
American Dream in the Meadowlands is now home to a new intergalactic-themed mini golf course. Catch 3-D astronaut sculptures, planet murals and a splash of color at every hole while you work your way toward victory.
Oh, did we mention that it's completely glow in the dark? Out of This World Blacklight Mini Golf even has glow-in-the-dark equipment: balls, putters and scorecards. It's one of the most Instagrammable places near NYC and it makes for fun family competition. Tickets must be purchased in advanced. General admission is $15 and a family four pack is $48.
American Dream is also home to the Angry Birds Not So Mini Golf and a variety of other cool, record-breaking attractions: The nation's first indoor ski slope, the largest indoor water park in the country and an indoor theme park that houses the world's steepest roller coaster and the world's tallest adventure ropes course.
Think of making a Jersey day trip? Which American Dream attraction will you visit first?
