Shoppers, rejoice!
According to an exciting announcement, Target plans to open a new location in Times Square. This means running errands after work will be more convenient for those trekking through midtown (i.e. seemingly everyone). Plus, after a long day on the job, customers are bound to come across a few fun trinkets they never knew they needed, and what's more satisfying than that? (We give you credit if you're able to forgo a browse through the Dollar Section.)
This new 33,000 square-foot storefront will call 42nd St between 7th and 8th Aves home. It will be a "small-format store," an ideal spot for urbanites who are in a rush (again, everyone).
A press release addressing the small-format stores states, "We’ve reimagined our stores to be even more inspiring and easy to shop for guests, enhancing key areas like food & beverage and apparel, home décor and furniture and adding space for guest-favorite pickup services."
Say no more, Target! We're ready to make a pitstop there as we speak, but note that the store is projected to open in 2022. (But we're willing to wait patiently!)
