Mad. Sq. Eats will serve fried-chicken biscuits and pork-doughnut sliders come September 4th

Summer may be winding down but there's still plenty of time for alfresco eating, especially with word that Mad. Sq. Eats, UrbanSpace's semi-annual outdoor food festival in Worth Square, is coming back on September 4th with a host of new vendors.

Running seven days a week from 11am to 9pm through October 1st, the eighth annual pop-up market will welcome newcomers like modern-Chinese outfit Koa, ladling out ramen bowls built with soy-milk broths; state-fair–inspired eatery Farm Road, offering fried-chicken biscuits and nugget potato salad; and Californian street-food stall Jicama, which will serve salads, tamales and a truly insane-sounding pork doughnut slider made with pulled pork, roasted beets and maple doughnuts. The newbies will join fest favorites like Roberta's, Red Hook Lobster Pound and the Cannibal—check out the full lineup below:
