If you don’t have plans for Labor Day weekend, we highly suggest checking off a few events from our list of things to do in summer. Everyone knows that the holiday is essentially summer’s lash hurrah. And while this weekend’s weather is putting us in the fall and Oktoberfest zone, several of these warm-weather events end for the season come Tuesday, September 5. Experience these outdoor fests, public art shows, beach parties and more in the next three days to avoid a major case of FOMO.

Nari Ward: G.O.A.T., again (ends Sept 4
Nari Ward's six amazing sculptures inspired by—yep, you guessed it: goats—leave Socrates Sculpture Park after this weekend. According to the park, the exhibition is meant to "examine how hubris creates misplaced expectation in American cultural politics." Go appreciate the art, and make sure to take all the Instagram photos you can before the goats go baaa-ck into storage.

MoMA PS1 Warm Up (ends Sept 2)
Give a proper salute to this always-fun outdoor rager by shaking your rump to music by DJ Tunez, Little Dragon, Odwalla 1221 and more.

LUMEN at MoMA PS1 (ends Sept 4
The Queen's museum threw a goodbye party for this stunning art installation on Thursday night, however, you still have a chance to see Jenny Sabin Studio's Young Architects Project installation dubbed LUMEN lit up at night if you attend MoMA PS1 Warm Up on Saturday. FYI: It still looks pretty cool in daylight, too.

Governors Island after-hours (ends Sept 8)
Technically, you have until next Friday to enjoy the perks of New York’s car-free oasis (The Hills, Island Oyster and Liggett Terrace, etc.) until 10pm. But we just wanted to ensure you take extra advantage of this rare luxury during it's special late-hours event tonight.

Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812 (ends Sept 3)
The Great Comet will be out-of-sight come Sunday! Our Theater Editor Adam Feldman gave the musical five stars and says, "It’s a wonderful, soul-stirring escape." So grab some tickets in case you would rather be moved than hungover this weekend. (Or maybe you want both!)

Riis Park Beach Bazaar (ends Sept 5)
The folks who brought us Brooklyn Bazaar will be closing their daytime beach iteration soon! Make sure to check out the last "Get Summered" bash on Saturday at 1pm, featuring live music from great acts such as DJ's Edward Askew, DIRTY Boogie, Big VIC + blindspot.

Friday Picnics at Bryant Park (ends Sept 1)
All summer long, Bryant park has been making it even easier for you to have a romantic picnic with bae (or friends!) by providing free blankets and lawn games as well as food and drink for purchase. There’s also live theater, dance or music performances to entertain you while you lounge on the grass.
