Let's be honest: online Black Friday deals involve a greater variety of products than in-person shopping experiences do but, alas, sometimes, touching the dress and seeing the TV might spark something in you, which is why we've compiled a guide to where to shop on Black Friday in NYC if you're a traditional kind of shopper.

From Target to Uniqlo, the MoMA Design Store to the Apple Store, there are plenty of good offers on the table this holiday season—making shopping one of the best things to do in NYC this holiday season, alongside visits to the top holiday markets in New York.

What are you still waiting for? Hit one of the best coffee shops in NYC first to fuel up and then start checking items off your holiday shopping to-do list.

Best stores for Black Friday

The high-end department store on Third Avenue usually opens its doors bright and early at 7am on Black Friday and stays open until 10pm.

Online, some of the deals have already trickled in: classic jewelry pieces are on sale, as are fancy footwear picks, handbaks, menswear and womenswar choices.

MoMA's design store is a must for design fans, the museum's stand-alone retail arm assembles an impressive array of contemporary furnishings and gifts, including sculptural vases, clocks, kitchenware and gadgets. If you can't make it in person, check out the shop's official website, which will be populated with awesome finds come Friday, November 24.

To celebrate the holiday season, the Shops at Columbus Circle will be offering extended hours of operation through the first week of January. Youll have to contact specific stores to know about their hours but, generally speaking, most will be open from 10am to 8pm on Mondays through Saturdays and from 11am to 7pm on Sundays.

Apple fans get ready, while 2023 Black Friday has not been announced yet, for the last few years now, Apple has extended their one-day Black Friday sale beyond Friday-only. That means all Thanksgiving weekend long both in-stores and online locales have super sales starting early in the morning on Black Friday and ending in the evening on Cyber Monday. Set your Apple Watch and get ready to shop, shop, shop

The good news: all of the Target locations around the city will be offering Black Friday deals.

The very good news: the company will price-match any items purchased between October 22 and December 24 if they go lower at Target.

Some top Black Friday picks are currently spotlighted on the website, which we suggest looking at. Pay close attention to electronics as they tend to be well-priced across all Target stores.

What's better than high fashion at lower prices? Not much, of course. Enter Saks Fifth Avenue’s annual Black Friday sale, which typically begins the week of Turkey Day. Doors are open for you to take advantage of Black Friday deals which, in recent years, looked like up to 40% off certain designer brands, 50% off coats and winter gear, and more irresistible bargains.

Whether you're a professional artist or are looking to get your creative on in the year ahead, there is no better time to stock up on supplies and decor.

Word to the wise: shop for your Christmas tree now as picks at the retailer are already on major sale.

Uniqlo knows a thing or two about warm winter gear. You can stock up on cashmere sweaters and puffer coats for the whole family with sweet discounts. In recent years, Uniqlo has celebrated Black Friday for the entire week of Thanksgiving, so you probably won't have to miss your morning sleep on Friday.

Excellent deals on basics will be offered starting Black Friday on November 23 all the way through Cyber Monday on November 27. Keep in mind that all your "saved for later" picks will automatically be "added to cart—" which means you can start shopping... right now.
