Breakfast is one of the highlights of a great hotel stay. But for those with dietary restrictions, it can make or break a staycation experience. Singapore might be a foodie haven for most of us, but sometimes it's not so easy tracking down a Muslim-friendly restaurant, or better yet, a delicious Halal buffet to enjoy with friends and family.

But worry not. We’ve scoured the island for the top halal-certified buffets around town so that you can eat out to your heart’s content, be it international fare, a seafood fiesta, local favourites or a mountain of desserts.

As its name promises, Asian Market Cafe at Fairmont Singapore offers a delicious halal-certified buffet line of local favourites and regional pan-Asian creations that reflect Singapore’s rich diversity of flavours and cultures. 

Helmed by Chef Bryan, expect next-level Asian cuisine with his innovative interpretations of local dishes while retaining their true flavours, such as his New Age Roti John live station and cheesy minced beef curry Parmentier. Yum! Lunch and dinner buffets start from $84 and $90 per person respectively.

Dig into Mediterranean-inspired dishes and local Asian classics at 21 On Rajah's sumptuous halal buffet alongside quintessential local Malay and Middle Eastern starters. Highlights from the Ramadan and Hari Raya buffets include the all-time favourite slow-roasted U.S. prime rib-eye in mixed spice marinade with grilled vegetables and mixed seafood with petai in chinchalok chilli sauce. On the Mediterrenean side, indulge in classics such as hummus, baba ganoush and lamb moussaka. The weekday iftar dinner buffet and Hari Raya brunch buffet start from  $62 per adult; while the weekend iftar and Hari Raya dinner buffets are priced at $72 per adult.

The Buffet at M Hotel is the first halal steamboat restaurant in Singapore. Here, the Muslim community can join around the hotpot not just for a delicious meal, but also to reunite and commune over food. Expect fresh seafood, premium meats and a 'live' prawn station complemented by handmade pastes, rich MSG-free steamboat broths, the chef's special house dipping sauces, and handcrafted desserts. Signature dishes include rendang tok itok with ketupat palas and durian king cream puff with Biscoff cookie crumble. Iftar Fiesta (till April 23) prices start from $58 per person, with limited time promotion of dine-4-pay-3 with a minimum of three paying adults.

Head to Atrium Restaurant’s halal-certified buffet at Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium for an extensive selection of international flavours and Singaporean staples such as beef rendang, sambal kang kong, roti prata, Hainanese chicken rice and more. 

Other popular favourites include roasted whole baby lamb at the live carving station on weekends; an array of grilled meats and poultry including spring chicken, lamb chop, sambal squid, and otah-otah at the BBQ Corner; as well as executive chef Chua's signature laksa. Buffet prices start from $90 per adult.

All-day dining restaurant Peppermint (formerly known as AquaMarine) boasts a healthy farm-to-table concept. With a renewed focus on conscious eating, you can rest assured that Peppermint’s healthy menus include plant-based options and the use of sustainable and locally sourced ingredients. 

Buffet highlights include the soya braised duck leg with Chinese yam and mushroom; Wagyu beef slices and Chinese cabbage in tomato stew; and crispy battered crab claw with salmon roe in sea urchin sauce. Bonus: step out to the terrace to the Urban Farm, where more than 60 varieties of herbs, edible flowers and vegetables are grown and used as salads, garnishes, aromatics and ingredients for food, as well as drinks, such as tea and infused water. 

Weekday lunch and dinner prices are $68 and $98 per person respectively; while weekend buffet prices are $78 and $108 per person respectively.

Sporting a new cosmopolitan concept and decked out in hues of blue, Tiffany Café & Restaurant serves an array of international cuisine on its buffet line. Popular crowd pleasers such as Tiffany Laksa, beef rendang, steamed Atlantic red fish in superior soya sauce and durian pengat are just some of the perennial favourites at this Muslim-friendly buffet. The Lunch buffet is priced at $42 per person, while the dinner buffet is priced at $48 per person.

Easily one of Singapore's most elegant halal buffets in town, The Landmark's wide selection of cuisines on its buffet and its lavishly designed interiors make it perfect for celebrating special occasions. 

Situated in the heart of Arab Street and Bugis at the core of Singapore’s Malay enclave, the halal buffet here flanks local favourites and a wide international spread too. Special additional dishes such as Arabic chicken mandi, Bonchon-style Korean fried chicken and sup tulang feature on the weekend buffet. Enjoy 1-for-1 promotions for both the weekday and weekend lunch and dinner buffets, with prices starting from just $67.90 per person.

Furama RiverFront’s Kintamani Indonesian Restaurant is easily one of the best places in town for an authentic Indonesian buffet. Highlights of their infinite buffet item selections include the signature peha kaki kambing (roasted lamb leg with chefʼs homemade sauces), rendang daging sapi, ayam panggang rica rica, udang goreng mentega, remis sambal and more.

Other hearty favourites at the Carving Station ​​include paha kambing bakar (grilled lamb leg), ikan siakap bakar (baked fish, kebab ayam (chicken shawarma), and daging domba bakar (grilled lamb chop). Buffet prices start from only $38 per adult, and senior citizens enjoy 30 percent off.

Expect anything from lavish seafood spreads and an impressive French rotisserie as well as a huge choice of delectable desserts.
