We've officially made it to the halfway mark of 2026, and F&B openings are still taking the city by storm. This monthly list of new restaurants in Singapore is notably Asian-focused, with Japanese concepts leading the charge, from casual eateries with affordable izakaya bites and sizzling hamburg steaks, to omakase restaurants with excellent seafood and even better service. Beyond that, discover a new rooftop restaurant serving creative contemporary Singaporean fare – the kind you'll want to bring your friends from abroad to dine at – as well as a new premium hotpot destination in Sentosa. Here are five new restaurants in Singapore to check out this June.

1. Torikizoku

Torikizoku, Japan's yakitori empire with over 600 locations, has finally landed in Singapore. If you've been to Japan, you've probably seen the big yellow signs and the restaurants packed with customers. The new Singapore store at VivoCity is the chain's largest outlet in the world, with 174 seats. And the concept here is gloriously simple: every plate on the menu is priced at $3.90 for two skewers – all freshly grilled to order. Expect everything from plump meat skewers and hearty rice sets to a huge range of boozy drinks ($9.90 each), with highlights like the kizokuyaki chicken thigh and leek, as well as the grilled fluffy grated yam hotplate. Our favourite dish? The chicken kamemashi (Japanese claypot rice), which is served piping hot to your table.

2. Milli Sky Dining, Bar & Lounge

If you're a fan of rooftop dining, Milli Sky Dining, Bar & Lounge is the latest addition to the lot. Perched on the rooftop of the National Gallery Singapore, this new restaurant brings together some of the city's biggest F&B and hospitality names, including Chef LG Han of Michelin-starred Labyrinth, Vijay Mudaliar of the award-winning Native bar, and the folks behind wildly popular nightlife concept Bae's Cocktail Club. The two-storey venue spans the rooftop restaurant on Level 6 and a club lounge on Level 5. Milli Sky Dining's menu features creative, contemporary spins on Singaporean dishes, with highlights like spring chicken rice paella and king crab with white pepper and salted egg yolk sauce, while the cocktail menu leans light and approachable, also spotlighting local flavours.

3. Hikiniku To Come

Hikiniku To Come, known in Tokyo for its charcoal-grilled hamburg patties, is now open in VivoCity. And we think it might be the best hamburg steak spot in Singapore right now. There's just one item on the menu: a signature set ($27.90) with three patties served in succession and different pairing options. Each round contains finely ground Japanese beef, grilled and seared to perfection over binchotan charcoal, and served directly to your plate. Enjoy it as is – it's delightfully juicy, well-seasoned and cooked through – pair it with grated radish and ponzu sauce for a refreshing bite, or dipped in raw egg for a silky texture. There are over eight condiments and sauces for endless combinations, unlimited rice refills, miso soup, as well as sides like potato salad and kimchi.

4. Quan Hotpot

Resorts World Sentosa has been steadily expanding its F&B line-up, and among its latest openings is Quan Hotpot, a premium hotpot concept that strikes a sweet spot between luxury and accessibility. The biggest draw here is its value-for-money set menu (from $68 per person), which comes loaded with seafood, meats and vegetables, alongside your choice of individual broths. While options like Sichuan mala and the Singapore laksa broths are easy crowd-pleasers, we recommend the collagen herbal chicken broth for a more balanced flavour that lasts throughout the meal without overpowering the ingredients. Expect quality produce like Korean tiger prawns, scallops and raw abalone, locally farmed mushrooms, Australian wagyu beef and more.

5. Jiin Omakase

A newcomer to the Les Amis Group, Jiin Omakase brings a traditional yet approachable take on Japanese fine dining. Helmed by Chef Sakamoto Mitsutaka under the guidance of Group Head Chef Saito Makoto, the restaurant focuses on premium seasonal seafood sourced from Japan at the peak of each micro-season. Standout dishes include the ise ebi (Japanese spiny lobster) hot pot, as well as anywhere between five and six seasonal sashimi served in a single course. Beyond the pristine seafood, Jiin Omakase sets itself apart with its emphasis on omotenashi – what can only be described as a keen, highly intuitive form of hospitality – and making the dining experience feel less stiff compared to your average fine-diner.
