Time Out says

There’s no need to miss on Woodcut’s ace food and drinks if you’ve gone booze-free

Whether you’ve jumped on the Dry July bandwagon or given up grog for good, this one’s dedicated to you. The Crown’s luxe ground-floor restaurant, Woodcut, is partnering with the Dry July Foundation and Lyre’s Spirit Co to offer a month of booze-free fun. Trust us when we say Lyre’s liquor-less spirits taste just as good as the classics they pay homage to.

The days of soda water, orange juice and hangovers are a thing of the past with Woodcut’s five quirky non-alcoholic cocktails, which are exclusively available throughout July. Warm up with the steaming Winter Warmer featuring Lyre's Dark Cane Spirit, chai tea, spices, orange, citric and blackberry; or the fiery Besos Calientes with Lyre's Agave Reserva, roasted yellow peppers, chilli, lime, passionfruit and sea salt.

You can also reminisce on the sun-soaked days of summer with the Italiano, which is a playful twist on the classic Spritz with Lyre’s London Dry, orange, grapefruit, lemon and whites; or the Boilmaker with Lyre's Highland Malt, 0 per cent lager beer reduction, citrus zests, tonic and soda.

Good news: If you’re one of the 20,000 legends who has signed up to raise money for cancer as part of Dry July, then Woodcut will treat you to ‘buy one get one free’ non-alcoholic cocktails. They've also created three special snacks to pair with your bevs including spanner crab hot cakes, hemp seed fried prawn sandos and ash grilled chorizo skewers. Alternatively, settle in for dinner with premium grilled Wagyu steak; Southern rock lobster in kombu butter; or ash grilled shiitake mushrooms with shiso and seaweed.

You can make a booking at Woodcut here.
