Do you dream of living that French provincial life with linen, bicycles, cobbles and fresh veggies in timber boxes, but in actual fact mostly eat instant ramen or order takeaway? Chef Matt Moran of Chiswick fame is offering a lucky few the opportunity to correct the trend of their fresh produce intake by delivering boxes of garden veg to celebrate spring. And the best part is they're totally free.

All you need to do is register for a box and have a snappy answer on hand, and if you're chosen a handpicked selections of nature's bounty will be loaded into a sweet, refurbed 1960s van and delivered on Friday 10, 17 or 24 in November. This whole exercise is in celebration of the new spring menus at Chiswick and Chiswick at the Gallery.

The boxes might contain eggplants, blood oranges, radishes, kale, heirloom tomatoes or golden nugget pumpkin, and each box comes with recipes so you know how to use everything at its peak freshness. You'll also get to make Chiswick’s mint salsa, normally served alongside the Moran Family lamb shoulder, in the comfort of your own home.

Of course the numbers are limited so get your name in quick – the best answers to the question about how you'll use your veggies will decided who is successful, and if that's you they'll let you know when to expect your delivery.
