Sydney Craft Beer Week has launched their new program for the 2016 festival, and there's a lot to look forward to. Come October you're going to need to have your party pants well and truly buckled up for eight days of craft beer fun that ranges from the sublime, like a beer and cheese pairing event, to the ridiculous, like a tournament of GoldenEye on N64.

Returning for another year are popular events like Batch Brewing's crab boil, nine holes of golf with beers at each hole up in Mona Vale and the annual Ladies High Tea at Harts Pub. New additions to the schedule are an afternoon of tinnies and back lane cricket in Glebe, a sausage-making class, a night of Boilermakers at Archie Rose and a night of mead tasting at Yulli's.

You'd better believe you can get another shot at glory with the Beer Meat Axe event that includes an axe-throwing contest, dinner and drinks, and the Time Out Hop-Up returns for anther year to bring a pop-up craft beer bar to World Square for thirsty inner city workers.

You can check out our full round-up of Time Out's festival picks, or to get a run up visit our Sydney craft beer guide. October is going to be a very boozy month.
