Off the Eaten Truck is a brand-new food festival in Western Sydney that’ll feature 30 of Sydney’s most popular food trucks, including Mister Gee, Happy as Larry, Agape, Cantina Movil, Mama Linh’s and the most lively and entertaining of trucks, Knafeh.
There’ll be tonnes of snacks as festival organisers are expecting 20,000 people to Rooty Hill for one mass outdoor dinner party. Live music and family-appropriate entertainment is scheduled all day, but the main drawcard will be the food. For the organisers, this festival is putting Western Sydney on the map for foodies.
The festival is teaming up with the Bearded Bakers and Movember to raise money for men’s health issues in Western Sydney. Entry is free, however a gold coin donation is welcome. Free shuttle buses will run from Mt Druitt Station throughout both days.
