As the world continues to reopen, Time Out Market locations across the globe are once again welcoming in guests. Following the recent openings of Miami, Dubai, Boston, Lisbon and New York, Time Out Market Chicago is opening its doors, today, Thursday, June 17.

Located among the acclaimed restaurants of Fulton Market, our three-story, 50,000-square-foot Market boasts an expansive street-side patio and a rooftop bar that offers sweeping views of the city. Inside, you’ll find some of Chicago’s top culinary talent, all curated by our editorial team. The opening day lineup includes nine eateries, with more kitchens set to debut later this summer.

When you stop by, you’ll be able to enjoy pastries and coffee from Bittersweet, rustic pasta from Pisolino and artisan barbecue from Soul & Smoke. We’re also proud to welcome tavern-style pizza purveyors Candlelite and crispy fried chicken from Cleo’s Southern Kitchen. Plus, Mini Mott is back with delicious burgers, Arami has sushi galore and Urbanbelly will hook you up with delicious dumplings. And if you’re craving something sweet, you’ll find creative ice cream flavors at Shawn Michelle’s.

In the coming weeks, even more options will become available at Time Out Market Chicago, including Polish-Colombian fusion fare served by Polombia (opening June 24) as well as steaming bowls of noodles from Bill Kim Ramen Bar (opening July 1) and colorful chocolates from Bad Bach Chocolate (opening July 7).

To wash down all of those delicious eats, we’ve got three fully stocked bars serving craft cocktails, beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages. We’re especially excited about our brand-new seasonal cocktail menu filled with summery sippers, including the Evil Dojo, a dark drink made with pineapple rum, CH peppercorn vodka, ginger liqueur, Appel’s pineapple-serrano cordial, activated charcoal and yuzu lemonade. Plus, we’re featuring Harold’s ’83 Honey Ale, brewed by Jay Westbrook and Sam Ross in collaboration with Haymarket Beer Co. using honey from Sweet Beginnings, a beekeeping program that employs ex-offenders.

Once you’ve had a chance to eat and drink inside the Market (or at a picnic table on the patio), stick around to take in some of the opening weekend entertainment. Local soul band The Hemispheres will perform on Thursday evening (part of our summer music series, presented by Goose Island) and the Chicago Bucket Boys will show up to make noise on Friday. On Saturday, we’ll welcome the Kaben Kafö West African Djembe Ensembleand on Sunday, the Jesse White Tumblers will show off amazing physical feats. Plus, our Love Local Art installation in the Market’s west staircase showcases work by local artists DOT and World Wide Zeb.

So, what are you doing for dinner this weekend? Here’s hoping we’ll see you soon at Time Out Market Chicago, now open at 916 W Fulton Market.
