Ever since The St. Regis Hotel opened its doors in New York in 1904, the brand has made a name for itself globally and established its reputation for luxury and sophistication. Similarly, The St. Regis Bar shares this identity through their exceptional cocktails and top-notch service. At the bar’s Macau outpost, guests can expect to enjoy the same traditions and refined experience with touches of local influences.

Upon setting foot into The St. Regis Bar Macao, guests are transported into an elegant environment with furnishings like dark wooden fixtures, plush sofas, and intricate ceiling designs. Most notably, this venue houses a stunning hand-painted mural above its bar counter, showcasing Macau as a vibrant port city and its iconic landmarks like the A-Ma Temple and the Guia Fortress.

The bar pays homage to its flagship location by offering a curated range of New York-inspired cocktails, categorised by five neighbourhoods: Lower Manhattan, Midtown, Upper Manhattan, East Side, and West Side. Alternatively, guests can try innovative cocktails with local twists such as the Maria do Leste, an East-meets-West take on the iconic Bloody Mary, and the dark rum-based Macao Egg Tart, for a decadent dessert-like cocktail that reimagines Macau’s iconic Portuguese egg tart.

Even though it’s halfway around the world from New York, the Macau outpost keeps the traditions of The St. Regis Bar alive every evening. At 6pm, visitors can admire a showstopping Champagne Sabrage ceremony in the hotel lobby, followed by the bar’s Violet Hour programme at 6.30pm, where bartenders expertly toss and serve Martinis tableside as live jazz performances create a relaxing atmosphere.
