Made by locals, for locals. Founded in 2014, owners of Mak's Beer, Mak Ho-lun, Mak Po, and Lo Tak-chi wanted to create something that would suit to Hongkongers' taste. Fine tuning its recipes to introduce unique, subtle flavours, the brewery whips up a ton of great beers inspired by Hong Kong culture. Go for something classic like the brewery's first product, Yim Tin, which was inspired by the quiet village of Yim Tin Tsai in Sai Kung, or try our favourite, the Sugarcane Juice beer, which is produced in collaboration with Kung Lee Herbal Tea, a fourth-gen herbal tea shop in Central. You can't go wrong with either choice.
