Hooters facing eviction after failing to pay rent

Hooters Hong Kong

Things have gone a bit tits up at Hooters, it seems.

Everyone’s favourite bar for chicken wings, beer and demure ladies is facing eviction after accruing more than $1.13 million in unpaid rent. The landlord took legal action against the Wyndham Street venue last week after Hooters failed to pay almost three months worth of rent. Apparently, lawyers will kick Hooters out if they don’t pay $371,700 per month going forward.

Looks like that plan to have Hooters girls act as babysitters didn’t work out too well, did it? Read our original interview with Hooters general manager Mike Warde from when the bar first opened here.
