Mark your calendars! Jamie Oliver’s new venture, Jamie’s Deli, is about to debut in Harbour City next month offering Hongkongers fresh and responsibly-sourced food for takeaway.

Oliver, also known as The Naked Chef, is well-noted for his stripped back approach to cooking and belief in providing quality food at reasonable prices. The deli follows the opening of Jamies Italian restaurants in Causeway Bay and Tsim Sha Tsui, of which Time Out Hong Kong wasnt exactly impressed. Nonetheless, the deli promises everything from salads to pizzas to sandwiches – the kind of quick bites ideal for busy folk looking to eat on the go or a more casual sit down dinner.

Jamie’s Deli in Tsim Sha Tsui is set to be the first in Asia. Whether or not it ends up good enough to sneak a place among Hong Kong’s best supermarkets, we’ll have to wait and see...

Shop 412, 4/F, Ocean Centre, Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui, 3758 3333; jamieoliver.com. Daily 8am-6pm.
