It’s not often that we get a taste of Scandinavian lifestyle here in Hong Kong but thanks to a collaboration between Finnish design brand Marimekko and Tsim Sha Tsui’s W hotel, Hongkongers can enjoy now a special afternoon tea at Woobar.
This Instagrammable set features sweet and savoury treats served on Marimekko’s signature floral crockery. The specially designed red velvet strip cake and truffle chocolates sport Marimekko’s ‘m’ logo and the chocolate latte is served in the brand’s famous floral patterned mug.
There’s more than cucumber sandwiches on the savoury side. Snack on porcini mushroom tart, smoked salmon roll with basil cream cheese and caviar, slow-cooked duck confit puff and wagyu beef carpaccio with green asparagus, pumpkin and black truffle. Sam Sinha.
