It’s Negroni Week next week, so if you’re a fan of the orange stuff, pay attention.

Lots of venues will be serving up their own unique twists on this classic cocktail, with $10 from each drink going to the bar’s charity of choice. Better still, it’s an excuse to party so Jinjuu is hosting some of the hottest bartenders in Hong Kong to sling some gin, Campari and vermouth.

Jinjuu’s head mixologist Edgarito Santillan will be whipping up four negronis including the ‘Bokgroni’ with bok choy infused Glendalough gin, Cocchi Torino, Campari, Sipsmith London Cup and Belsazar Rose. Joining him for the headline slot on the 7 June is Mario Calderone of Honi Honi Tiki Cocktail Lounge. Mario will be serving two negronis, including the ‘Cinaro Negroni’ with Tanqueray, Campari, Mancino Rosso and Cynar. Joining him will be Tunny Alexander Grattidge of The Pawn Kitchen by Tom Aikens, serving up a fruity pair - the ‘Mangosteen Negroni’ and ‘Acai Berry Negroni’.

8 June sees Beckaly Franks of The Pontiac dishing out some negroni jello shots - in honour of the Ponty jello classic and ‘My Name is Nobody’ with Ocho tequila, Mancino Rosso, Campari, Fernet Branca. Tom Egerton of Potato Head is keeping it tropical with a coconut aged negroni - a classic negroni aged inside young Thai coconuts as well as a negroni aged in Indonesian clay pots.

Remember - the more you drink, the more money goes to charity, so bottoms up and cheers to a good cause. Find out more about Negroni Week and participating Hong Kong venues at www.negroniweek.com
