Well-loved K-pop group Twice have just embarked on their sixth world tour starting in July, and they’ve put both Hong Kong and Macau on their concert schedule. They’ve just released their This is For album and performed at Lollapalooza Chicago earlier this month, and will soon make their way to our shores. The nine-member girl group will perform at The Venetian Arena in Macau on September 27 and 28, then return to take over the Kai Tak Stadium on December 6.

We’ve heard that they’ll be setting up 360-degree stages to remove the traditional barrier between artists and audiences, allowing for a more immersive concert experience. Tickets for Twice’s Macau show run from $799 to $2,499, with the VIP package offering access to the pre-show soundcheck, a VIP laminate and lanyard, a postcard set, and an exclusive merch lane. The Live Nation pre-sale starts on August 14 while general sales open on August 15. Keep an eye out for Hong Kong ticketing details further down the line.

Japanese rock band Novelbright is holding their first solo Hong Kong concert at Tides! Praised for powerful vocals and melodies that linger in the memory, this five-strong group from Osaka will be playing in Hong Kong for one night on their Asia tour. Hopefully we’ll get to hear some of their biggest hits such as ‘Walking with you’, ‘Tsukimisou’, and ‘Ai toka Koi toka’. Tickets range from $699 to $1,299 for the VIP package, which includes the highest-tier ticket, early entry, and a solo photo opportunity with Novelbright.

Popular vocaloid Japanese singer Yama is taking to the Hong Kong stage once again, this time with their one-night-only Asia tour performance. Fans can look forward to hearing tracks from their new album, as well as some long-time favourites such as Haru wo Tsugeru, Shikisai, and Slash. If you missed seeing this enigmatic genderfluid artist performing at Clockenflap last year, then make sure not to miss their show on October 22 at the MacPherson Stadium. Tickets run from $699 to $1,599, with VIP ticketholders getting a limited VIP postcard autographed by Yama, priority entry, an exclusive laminate and lanyard, as well as a post-show meet and greet with a group photo session.

Live Nation Electronic Asia brings a 10-day music carnival over the spooky season that gathers both local and international top artists. Don your best costumes and join the festival to see global electro powerhouses Steve Aoki, R3hab, and Zedd, along with Rae Sremmurd, Novel Fergus, and beloved Hong Kong artists like Hins Cheung and MC Cheung. Aside from the music, there will also be a market carnival, an art zone, and even an illusion maze, so start thinking about what you’re dressing up as now.

Festival tickets cost $680 per day and include access to the carnival areas, while entry to only the carnival grounds for the market and games cost $100.

Canadian rapper and singer bbno$ is coming back to Hong Kong for his first solo show in the city! With viral hits like Lalala released with American producer Y2K and edamame featuring Indonesian rapper Rich Brian, and through his collaborations with American rapper Yung Gravy, bbno$ has racked up 14.8 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

This will be his first solo gig in Hong Kong – part of the artist’s ‘it’s pronounced baby no money’ world tour – will take place at Tides in Whampoa, a newly opened music venue, on November 13, so fans will likely get to hear a couple of tracks off the new album live. Live Nation members can snag tickets ($599) on Live Nation on September 25 from 12 pm onwards. General sale tickets will then be released on September 26 from 12 pm onwards.

New-gen Japanese singer-songwriter Yuuri will be coming to Hong Kong towards the end of the year as part of his Asia tour. This will be his first full concert in our city, and considering his shows in Seoul and Taipei were sold out very quickly, we have high hopes for this young talent. The one-night-only, open-air concert promises to showcase Yuuri’s most iconic songs, and we have our fingers crossed for his breakout hits ‘Peter Pan’ and ‘Kakurenbo’, his opening track for My Hero Academia ‘Curtain Call’, as well as our favourite ballad ‘Dried Flower’.

Yuuri takes the stage at AXA Wonderland on November 15. Tickets run from $880 to $1,980, with the most pricey ticket tier getting early access to the audience area closest to the stage.

Mark your calendars for November 19 – Grammy-winning R&B, hip-hop, and pop group The Black Eyed Peas is making its return to Hong Kong for a concert at AXA Wonderland in West Kowloon! It’s been almost 20 years since the last time The Black Eyed Peas came to Hong Kong for a performance at the AsiaWorld-Expo, so fans can look forward to a set list that will probably consist of a mix of new material and the group’s most recognisable chart-toppers such as Where Is the Love?, I Gotta Feeling, Pump It, Boom Boom Pow, and Let’s Get It Started.

In its current formation, The Black Eyed Peas consists of members will.i.am, apl.de.ap, and Taboo, with Filipino-American singer J. Rey Soul serving as the group’s singer after Fergie’s departure in 2018. We expect this event will shape up to be a nostalgic night of revisiting and belting along to some of your favourite 2000s clubbing tunes, and dancing your socks off like it’s 2005.

No word yet on when tickets will be available for sale and what pricing tiers we’re looking at, so stay tuned for more information.

Fans of the highly acclaimed Japanese drama series Glass Heart will be over the moon to hear that the show’s fictional band Tenblank is due to make its real-world debut with an exciting fan meet scheduled for November this year!

On November 19, Takeru Satoh – who plays Naoki Fujitani in Glass Heart, the frontman of the music group – will come to Hong Kong as part of the ‘Tenblank from Glass Heart Fan Meeting - Asia Tour feat. Takeru Satoh’. Unfortunately, the full band members of Tenblank will not be present at the Hong Kong fan meet, but this one-day event at the AsiaWorld-Expo will be your chance to see the Japanese actor Satoh in the flesh, and he’ll most likely be in character in all of Fujitani’s slouchy, chin-tilting, smirking, rock god glory.

Tickets are available for either $699 or $899.

Globally popular Korean girl group Blackpink has announced the highly anticipated Asia leg of their Deadline world tour, and Hong Kong’s on their schedule! The last time Blackpink was in town was during their Born Pink world tour, when they played three concerts at the AsiaWorld-Expo in early 2023.

That was the highest-grossing tour by a girl group, and with the release of several successful solo projects from Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa since then, we can only expect even more people to want to see them perform live now. Since Hong Kong is the final stop on their Deadline tour, we’re also keeping our fingers crossed they end things with a bang and jazz things up for our shows.
