Bar Leone on Bridges Street has been a smash hit ever since it opened in 2023, with people spilling out the door hoping to get their hands on the award-winning martinis, but the task has only gotten more difficult ever since Bar Leone bagged top honours on the World’s 50 Best Bars and Asia’s 50 Best Bars lists. For the next two months, however, there might be a creative (and classy) way to beat the queues and experience Bar Leone’s exceptional cocktail-making – at a new bar pop-up in Causeway Bay.

Louis Vuitton is celebrating its store expansion at Lee Gardens One with a limited-time bar pop-up, partnering with none other than Bar Leone. From now until March 15, the Bar Leone x Louis Vuitton pop-up bar will serve new cocktails, mocktails, and food created specifically for the collaboration, taking inspiration from the iconic Yum Sing Bar at the historic Lee Gardens Hotel to pay homage to mixology and craftsmanship.

Located in the Lee Gardens One atrium, the chic pop-bar bar – which can seat up to 20 guests at a time – is festooned with supersized lanterns bearing the LV monogram, so it’s impossible to miss. Once you’re seated, you can sip Bar Leone-made drinks such as the Kir Royal with Ruinart Blanc de Blancs, raspberry cordial, and violet; the gin-based Lee Gardens Special with moutai, elderflower, cucumber cordial, and soda; and the Yum Sing Café, featuring coffee, salted cream, and cardamom. Paris With a View offers a non-alcoholic experience of grapefruit and raspberry flavours, while the Bar Leone signature, Masa Margarita, combines toasted corn-infused tequila, sloe gin, and lime cordial.

Alongside the tipples, there are three food sets available: the Premium Set ($700) with soft-boiled egg and 15 grams of caviar; the Deluxe Set ($800) with scallop, Balik salmon, ham roll, lobster, and foie gras; and the Prestige Set ($1,600), which comes with 15 grams of Prunier Osciètre caviar, scallop, Balik salmon, ham roll, lobster, foie gras, and a glass of Dom Perignon 2015. Do note that the food sets are not optional – each guest is required to order one per person in order to enjoy the Bar Leone x Louis Vuitton pop-up bar, and you’ll be prompted to choose which set you’d like when making your booking.

Make no mistake, this is an expensive way to beat the crowds at Bar Leone proper, but if you’re more focused on getting a guaranteed seat to enjoy Bar Leone bevvies and don’t mind splashing out for it, this might be the way to go. Open from 12pm to 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays and 12pm to 9pm on Sundays to Thursdays, entry to the Bar Leone x Louis Vuitton pop-up bar is by reservation only, so plan ahead and reserve your spot here.
