What’s more quintessentially Hong Kong than raising a cup of milk tea right in the middle of Victoria Harbour?

Hong Kong’s iconic evaporated milk brand Black and White has been the velvety backbone of the city’s daily milk tea ritual since the 1940s. This summer, the brand is turning 85, and it’s taking the festivities far beyond the walls of your local cha chaan teng with a series of events across the harbour and waterfront starting June 2.
For the first time ever, Black and White is taking over the Dukling, Hong Kong's oldest traditional Chinese junk boat. Passengers who book a spot on this exclusive Victoria Harbour cruise can take in the skyline views while enjoying a complimentary can of Black and White classic milk tea. The sailings run from June 2 to 15, with daily departures at 4.30pm, 5.30pm, 6.30pm, and 7.30pm from Tsim Sha Tsui Pier.
If you prefer to keep your feet on solid ground, the party continues just a short stroll away at K11 Musea. The promenade outside the luxury mall is being transformed into an interactive, boat-inspired playground featuring five experiential zones. Visitors can step onto a Black and White ship deck for photos against the harbour, learn about the brand’s history across the decades, and take home some exclusive limited-edition 85th anniversary collectables.
Running from June 2 to 14, the pop-up experience is free and open to all, while the harbour cruise is a ticketed affair with limited spaces available. If you fancy setting sail on this special milk tea cruise, keep your eyes peeled on the official Dukling website for further announcements regarding ticket releases and pricing.
