After months of anticipation, Japanese’s biggest discount chain store Don Don Donki has finally arrived in Hong Kong at Tsim Sha Tsui’s Mira Place II.

With over 350 stores in Japan and numerous outlets in places like Hawaii, California, Singapore and Bangkok, the new TST store marks Don Quijote’s first foray into Hong Kong. This 24-hour discounted goods store houses everything from uber-fresh sashimi and toothbrushes to super kawaii stuffed animals, along with imported Japanese treats including childhood favourites Umaibo puffed corn snack and freshly-made takoyaki.

With sections dedicated to fresh produce, confectionary, living and lifestyle, beauty and even matcha – seriously, there’s an entire matcha section – this store has absolutely everything and anything for anyone at any age. We’re talking entire displays of baby bottles to a risqué 18+ adult section (thankfully, they’re not situated next to each other).

This 23,000 sq ft store will open its doors on Friday, July 11 at 10am. But don’t wait to cash in on those deals, because the first 1,000 customers who make a $300 purchase will get a free limited edition collectible Donki Tote Bag (while stocks last). By Mabel Lui
