Get inked at IT’s new pop-up tattoo studio

Tattoo culture has become increasingly mainstream in Hong Kong thanks to events like Hong Kong Tattoo Convention and the many amazing tattoo parlours in the city. Hopping on the bandwagon and offering Hongkongers a new platform for self-expression, local fashion house IT has joined forces with renowned tattooists from around the world, including Los Angeles-based Dr Woo – who has inked the likes of David Beckham, Shawn Yue and Miley Cyrus – and Korean masters Doy and Hongdam, to host the IT Tattoo Atelier at its flagship store in Hysan One in Causeway Bay.

Open from now until April 2, the pop-up studio allows onlookers to watch the tattoo artists at work through its windows – provided customers don’t put the blinds down to get inked in privacy. Once your booking has been confirmed you can discuss details of your tattoo – design, how long it ought to take, price – with the artist of your choice. There are limited quotas every day, though, so make sure to book early.
