Clear your schedule for a first glimpse of their new summer collection

There’s something about seeing a tiny smiley face on a plush peanut that bypasses all adult logic and goes straight for the credit card. Yes, of course, we’re talking about Jellycat. Since its first pop-up in the city in 2024, the London-based plush toy brand has amassed a cult following in Hong Kong. This May, fans will have to clear their diaries and prepare to queue up as Hong Kong’s first themed physical store arrives.
Opening on May 8 at Lane Crawford Harbour City, the retail space will transform into the ‘Jellycat Yacht Club’, a full vacation-mode experience that brings with it the world debut of their 2026 summer collection.

While we don’t have details on what the full fleet will look like just yet, Lane Crawford’s little teaser suggests the lineup will lead with a Bashful Bunny in a navy captain’s jumper, a bear in a cream-coloured scarf, and an adorable lifebuoy Amuseable. Alongside the toys, it’s also likely that we’ll see some themed extras such as exclusive packaging or limited-edition tags to give the collection that extra bit of maritime flair.
So, how much damage are we talking? Based on previous drops at Lane Crawford, bag charms will likely sit around $250, while mid-sized characters should range from $400 to $650. Larger or more complex pieces might even reach up to $800.
Given the inevitable hype, these nautical characters are expected to fly off the shelves within the first few days of opening, so we recommend heading down early on May 8. Watch this space for more updates!
