Local bus company KMB has recently launched face mask vending machines where those commuting on public transport can get their hands on quality face masks for reasonable prices.

Located at Hung Hom Cross Harbour Tunnel Toll Plaza (Hong Kong Island-bound), Tuen Mun Road Interchange (Tuen Mun-bound) and Tuen Mun Road Interchange (Kowloon-bound), the machines allow commuters to purchase masks in packs of 10 at just $20 per pack. The three-layer masks are BFE≧95% and PFE≧95%, made in a cleanroom complying with ISO Class 8 under ISO 14644-1, and are 100 percent made in Hong Kong.

In addition to vending machines, the public can also head to designated customer service centres where masks in packs of 10 ($20 per pack) and boxes of 50 ($100 per box) are available for purchase. Each person is permitted to buy a limit of 100 masks.

In compliance with the government's social distancing measures, members of the public must wear a face mask while travelling on public transport, so be sure to have it one on at all times. Stay safe, folks!
