Refined French restaurant L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon makes a triumphant return to Hong Kong’s food scene with the opening of its new space within Landmark. Over its 18-year history in our city, the Hong Kong location is the only L’Atelier to hold a three-Michelin-star rating for 13 consecutive years, closing earlier this year in January for a renovation project. Now, it makes a dazzling entrance with a refreshed and expanded space.

Under the helm of executive chef Julien Togourian, L’Atelier retains its timeless allure with dishes that exhibit its core value: honouring the essence of each ingredient through simplicity and craftsmanship. Diners can find Robuchon signatures on the reopening menu, such as Le Caviar Impérial de Sologne, made with fresh crab, lobster jelly, and cauliflower cream; La Langoustine truffée et cuite en ravioli; and the slow-cooked Le Bœuf Wagyu châteaubriand assembled with creamy foie gras.

Oenophiles will also be glad to see an impressively long entry corridor at the restaurant lined with bottles – this is their all-new temperature-controlled wine cellar that’s four times larger than the original space. As the recipient of the Wine Spectator Grand Award for 16 consecutive years – the only restaurant in Hong Kong with this prestigious honour – L’Atelier houses over 3,400 wine labels, supplemented by a global collection of more than 400,000 bottles across 17,000 wine labels carefully stored in Macau.

As for the interior design, the restaurant retains its signature red and black colour palette from before, blending modern elegance with sharp decorative elements. Apart from the L-shaped counter facing the open kitchen and the customisable 68-seater area that make up the main dining room, there are also five private dining rooms, including a luxury VIP room that hosts exclusive gastronomic showcases up close and personal for special guests.

If refined, classic excellence with a modern touch is to your liking, make a booking now to check out the brand-new face of L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon at Shop 403, 4/F, Landmark Atrium, Central.
