Jimmy's Kitchen will temporarily close at the end of May, as it moves to a new location. The restaurant is one of the truly enduring forces in Hong Kong's culinary scene, having served Hongkongers for more than 90 years since 1928! Over the decades, the eatery has remained popular by serving up classic British cuisine from corned beef, to chicken Kiev, to steaks, in a warm and cosy setting.

The restaurant has been at its current Wyndham Street location since the 70s, but is now set to move to somewhere nearby in a move that coincides with the end of the lease on the current premises. The restaurant's owners have promised to retain "all of the charm and character synonymous with the brand, whilst at the same time adding some modernity to the décor and operation." During the relocation, the duration of closure is still undisclosed, but the team behind the famous eatery have expressed their desire to serve city dwellers for many more years to come.
