The internet’s favourite shapewear brand is coming to Causeway Bay

Get ready to clear some drawer space. Skims, the internet-breaking shapewear, loungewear, and underwear brand co-founded by Kim Kardashian and Jens Grede, is officially landing in Hong Kong.
Marking the brand’s first permanent physical location in the China region, the highly anticipated store will open its doors this November at Times Square in partnership with Lane Crawford, taking over the prominent ground-floor spot along Matheson Street where luxury jeweller Tiffany & Co. used to sit. Kim Kardashian herself also shared her excitement for the city, noting that Hong Kong has an incredible energy, style perspective, and global fashion influence.
Since launching in 2019, the label made a game-changing entrance into the intimates industry with its focus on body inclusivity and hyper-engineered fabric technology. Instead of squeezing and pinching, the solutions-oriented garments are designed to move with the wearer. While there’s no confirmation yet on exactly what will be on the hangers, local shoppers can expect to find some of the brand’s most signature items, from technically constructed sculpting shapewear designed to enhance curves to underwear that stretches to twice its size.
The doors won’t swing open until later this year, but you can expect huge crowds, sleek interiors, and plenty of neutral-toned essentials. Official opening dates and final store details will be revealed closer to the launch, so keep your eyes peeled for updates.
