There’s a special $20 deal at Hong Kong’s newest cinema

We wrote last month about D2 Place’s new CGV Korean cinema – with its special Gong Yoo-themed cinema screen – and its doors have finally opened. As well donating part of its profits to the Hong Kong movie industry to help support local film development, the cinema is offering a brilliant opening deal – at least for HSBC credit card holders. Folks with those handy pieces of plastic can purchase tickets for a bargainous $20 if they use their card from now until October 31. And yes, this applies to all 2D, 3D and ScreenX films.

With big releases like Distinction, Jevon Au’s new film, A Star is Born, featuring Lady Gaga, and Tom Hardy's Venom all coming out over the next few weeks, this is the perfect opportunity to see some of the year’s biggest films at a rock bottom price.
