Time just recently posted its 2018 list of The World’s Greatest Places, a list of ‘new and newly relevant destinations are worth experiencing’. Three Hong Kong locations made the list, which is more than the likes of Singapore, Seoul or Tokyo, proving that the last 12 months have been banner ones for our city.

Making the cut in the places to visit category, and deservedly so, is Tai Kwun, Hong Kong’s biggest conversation project to date, which has been pulling in the crowds in Central. Another conversion job, The Murray, has been noted as one of the most exciting new hotel openings of the last year – and with its luxury rooms and stunning rooftop views, we’re not surprised. Repping the local food scene, May Chow’s neo-Cantonese bar and restaurant, Happy Paradise, on Staunton Street, was selected for its unmissable food and drinks.

What recent openings do you think deserve a mention? Let us know in the poll below and we’ll compile reader’s choices for a list of our own.
