If you don’t like Negronis, close this tab because you don’t belong here! This month sees the return of the 14th edition of Negroni Week, featuring a global series of events in bars and restaurants that is the most extensive programme to date. Acclaimed bartenders from globally recognised bars will be doing guest shifts, collaborations, and exclusive events across Asia, and Hong Kong, along with our sister SAR Macau, is of course on the schedule.

Zuma will be hosting a double guest shift on September 21, with the Negroni Week opening party helmed by Matteo Cadeddu from Opium Bangkok (recently named No. 25 in Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026) and Michele Montauti, director of beverage and bars at Aman Nai Lert Bangkok. The speakeasy-style Opium is no stranger to guest shifts in our city, always serving liquid hits, but this is a great chance to also try drinks from the Aman Lounge, part of Bangkok’s ultra-luxurious Aman Nai Lert hotel and residences.

In addition to the guest bartenders’ creations, Zuma will also be serving two exclusive Negroni variations, available only during this week. The full six-drink special menu will range from a white truffle Negroni to a lacto-fermented tomato riff on the Americano made with Campari.

On September 24, pop over to Pony & Plume in Capella at Galaxy Macau where Joash Conceicao from Singapore’s Offtrack will be behind the stick. They recently snagged No. 16 in Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026, so if you’re not planning a trip to the Lion City soon, hop on a ferry to Macau instead.

But if you want to stick closer to home, there’s also a Negroni Night Fever party at Cassio that same evening. Enjoy up to three hours of free-flow classic cocktails and contemporary favourites, including the Rosita, the Campari Spritz, and of course, the iconic Negroni.

Saturday, September 26

Towards the end of the week’s activities, café-bar hybrid Dio will host a hands-on Negroni workshop, where guests can learn to make three drinks of their own: a classic Negroni, a Canton Negroni, and a Garibaldi. This event is limited to only 10 to 12 people, so get your slot before it’s too late.
