Jalan (CLOSED)

The team behind popular Brazilian-Japanese restaurant Uma Nota and Middle Eastern spot Bedu opened Jalan to offer contemporary twists on Malaysian street food classics. Named Jalan — which literally translates as “street” in Malay — the restaurant was located in Soho on Peel Street (just two doors down from its big sister Uma Nota) but has since closed. The team has since rebranded and the restaurant in place of Jalan is now tapas restaurant and bar Mama Always Said.
