The Nepali community have long been an important part of our local restaurant and bar scene, offering an affable warmth and friendly dedication to their hospitality – and now Hong Kong’s food community is gathering in strength to return that generosity during their time of crisis.
Three-Michelin-starred French restaurant Amber will host a 16-hands meal, with proceeds that go directly to the Hong Kong Red Cross’ Nepal flash floods emergency appeal. Apart from Amber, participating restaurants include the Mandarin Grill + Bar; Always Joy seasonal izakaya; the two-Michelin-starred Cristal Room by Anne-Sophie Pic; Leela; Torikaze; and Yong Fu Hong Kong. Each chef from these restaurants will contribute a signature course to the event menu, alongside bespoke bites and petit fours.
