Zuma will be holding a series of guest shifts with bartenders from around the globe. On July 19, the modern izakaya invites Mario la Pietra, bar manager of Singapore’s Neon Pigeon, to join Zuma’s bartenders in a collaborative guest shift. Throughout the night, Mario will be serving four exclusive cocktails inspired by Tokyo – A.A.F.F.T.T., R&G, Sling ‘a Jin, and Buck Off.
On the following day, Zuma will hold a cocktail masterclass, led by renowned Italian mixologist Dennis Zoppi, to educate guests about the process behind crafting cocktails. During the event, guests will have the opportunity to try out Zoppi innovative creations, and learn about the mixologist’s signature products. The same evening, Zoppi will be behind the bar with Zuma’s bar team to provide his unique spins on three of the restaurant’s classic cocktails.
Finally, Zuma will conclude their celebrations by inviting Davide Sambo, bar manager of Zuma Bangkok, to attend a guest shift at The Old Man Hong Kong on July 21. Joined by three other guest bartenders, Sambo will be shaking up two drinks from his seasonal Japanese Garden cocktail menu, Sado Sour and Hikari no Mary, for guests at The Old Man to enjoy for one exclusive evening.
