We curate an L.A. weekend itinerary of the city's best concerts, culture and cuisine, every week, just for you.

Friday

Fulfill your EDM-inspired shopping needs on Friday at Lots of Stuff in a Store. True to its name, this Fairfax shopping pop-up from deadmau5—who's in town this weekend—indeed features lots of stuff in a store, from apparel collaborations to the mega DJ's personal collection of mau5heads.

Support the arts with WERD: A Live Magazine Celebrating Music and Activism. This evening at the Theatre at Ace Hotel includes acoustic performances, conversations and all-star jam sessions from Perry Farrell, Shepard Fairey, Shirley Manson and John Densmore.

Shake and twerk the night away to the call and response stylings of Big Freedia, New Orleans' "Queen Diva" of bounce music, with a show at the Regent Theater.

Saturday

Embrace your anxieties about the state of the world during the opening day of Oracle at the Broad. The exhibition pulls more than 30 massive works from the Broad's collection that show globalizing forces at work in contemporary society.

Attend a sort-of-anti-beer-fest during Eagle Rock Brewery's annual Session Fest. The event solely features beers under 5.0% ABV—which the brewery boasts are still high in flavor even if they're low in alcohol, unlike the typical "the stronger, the better" beer fest mentality.

Can't make it to the Central Coast for Lightning in a Bottle? Celebrate in the Arts District instead at the Lightning in a Bottle Los Angeles Pre-Party, a rooftop yoga and dance party from DEEP Exhale and Do LaB held at ROW DTLA.

Catch a screening of The Godfather: Part II at the Los Angeles Theatre as Cinespia presents a '50s Vegas resort-themed soiree with DJ sets from Zach Cowie and Elijah Wood.

Alternatively, watch a 65th anniversary screening of Singin' in the Rain at San Pedro's handsome Wilshire Grand Theatre.

Sunday

Meet drag queens and pop-culture personalities at the second day of RuPaul's DragCon, an inclusive gathering and expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center hosted by the fierce, outspoken style icon.

Have dessert for lunch at Dessert Fest presented by Time Out L.A. This tasting event at Studio 11 includes sweet treats from spots like Magnolia Bakery, Ococoa and Lady M Cake Boutique, as well as games, DJs and two complimentary drinks.

If you're still hungry, head to the Los Angeles River Center and Gardens for Taste of the Eastside, which features restaurants and bars from Silver Lake, Atwater Village, Echo Park and other Eastside 'hoods.

Finish out your foodie itinerary with Chef's Fable at the Wiltern. This kickoff event for the L.A. Times' monthlong LA Food Bowl a panel with Jiro Dreams of Sushi and Chef's Table director David Gelb, Magnus Nilsson of Fäviken and Niki Nakayama of n/naka, as well as Chef director Jon Favreau and Kogi's Roy Choi; Jonathan Gold hosts.
