We curate an L.A. weekend itinerary of the city’s best concerts, culture and cuisine, every week, just for you.

Friday

Meet your match at Tantra Speed Date, a yoga–inspired dating event at Still Yoga in Silver Lake that features activities like communication games, improv and partner yoga. It’ll feel better than swiping, we promise.

Watch the return of a magical 1950s production as George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker—one of the only Nutcracker productions in L.A. with a live orchestra—comes to the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.

Meanwhile, at Dodger Stadium—no, baseball’s not back quite yet—you can see the opening night of Luzia. For Cirque du Soleil’s latest spectacle, the French-Canadian circus troupe looks south to Mexico for inspiration.

Saturday

Choose between four  holiday markets on Saturday, including Artisanal L.A. in Arcadia, Bitchcraft Winter Faire at Kinship Yoga in Highland Park, the chic Echo Park Craft Fair at Mack Sennett Studios and the venerable Renegade Craft Fair at Los Angeles State Historic Park.

Leave the singing to the pros and listen to Christmas classics during the Festival of Carols. Join the Los Angeles Master Chorale for all of your favorite holiday carols in concert at the iconic Walt Disney Concert Hall.

Keep the holiday cheer going and find a spot at Burton Chace Park or Fisherman’s Village to see the Marina Del Rey Boat Parade. Feel as though you’ve escaped to a small-town fishing village at this illuminated boat parade and fireworks show, which kicks of at 5:55pm.

See a performance from the unfathomably funny Wild Horses, an improv team that features Lauren Lapkus, Mary Holland, Stephanie Allynne and Erin Whitehead. They hit the stage at Largo tonight with special guest Cheryl Hines.

Sunday

Start your Sunday on two wheels during CicLAvia: Wilshire Boulevard. The popular car-free festival is charting a course through Downtown, Westlake and Koreatown on this annually occurring route.

Drift into the L.A. Convention Center for the final day of the L.A. Auto Show. Get behind the wheel of futuristic prototype cars and be on the lookout for appearances from local sports legends.

Spend the rest of the day at the Theatre at Ace Hotel as nearly all of podcasting’s funniest comedians come together for Pee Cast Blast ’17. The lineup includes—deep breath—Comedy Bang! Bang! How Did This Get Made?Improv4Humans and much, much more.
