Time Out says

Something big, colourful and very, very fun has popped up in Fed Square this summer. Cupid's Koi Garden by Eness is a large, immersive installation that's in residence at Melbourne's most famous square from January 21 to February 6.

This colourful public work features a six-metre-tall inflatable water fountain of abstract fish inspired by Cupid, the cherubic Roman deity of love. Except this is a modern Cupid, an artificial intelligence cupid who loves to play around and spread joy. The artwork uses 360-degree technology to track guests – get too close and you might just get splashed (not such a bad thing during a Melbourne summer).

Cupid's Koi Garden is part of the Kaleidosquare summer program and has been created by art and technology studio Eness, who you might remember were also behind the luminescent Sky Castle installation.

Drop past Fed Square daily from now until Feb 6 to discover the installation for yourself.
