White Rabbit’s White Ale has been named the Australian Champion Beer for 2017. Refreshing with just a hint of botanicals such as coriander, bitter orange and juniper berry, it’s no wonder it took out the top prize. The citrus-spiced brew originally came from the lush landscape of Healesville, Victoria and has since settled in its new home in Geelong, the White Rabbit Brewery and Barrel Hall. The White Ale has also managed to find its way into the big smoke, becoming a staple craft beer in bars, pubs and bottle shops in inner city Melbourne.

Want to try it out? Head to one of these fine establishments. In the CBD, find your pint of White Ale at Beer DeLuxe and Cookie, otherwise head northside to Ichi Ni Nana Izakaya and Upside Rooftop Bar where you can pair your refreshing ale with some delicious Japanese food. If you're hanging around Windsor, head to the Windsor Alehouse, but the best place to try a White Rabbit White Ale right at the source in the Geelong brewery
