Today, Sugar Mountain announced that Blood Orange (AKA Dev Hynes) has pulled out of the festival, coming up on Saturday January 21, and of his sideshows in Melbourne and Sydney. "Unfortunately due to personal and family matters, and after much consideration, I've decided to cancel these shows to spend time with my family," the British-American producer/songwriter said. "Sending love in the new year."

And while Blood Orange isn't easily replaceable, Sugar Mountain have done a pretty darn good job at bringing some big names to the table. First up is Melbourne legends The Avalanches, who have just made a massive comeback to their seminal 2000 album If I Were You with their 2016 record Wildflower. They'll be performing a full live show before they head to Coachella in April; expect everything from 'Since I Left You' and 'Frontier Psychiatrist' to the new 'Frankie Sinatra'.

On top of that, Sugar Mountain have also invited Baltimore's Spank Rock for a DJ set, plus Zimbabwe-born, Wellington-based rapper Young Tapz and Melbourne's own electro-goth duo HABITS.

Tickets are still on sale for Sugar Mountain
