Struggling to wrap the ol' brain around the mysteries of our ever-expanding universe? Professor Brian Cox is here to help.

Following a super successful UK and European tour, in which Cox broke a Guinness World Record for ticket sales, the British physicist will bring Prof Brian Cox Live to Melbourne on Thursday November 2. The show has been lauded for its state-of-the-art visuals of the cosmos, presented on huge screens for maximum mind-blowing effect. "The massive screens of this show do justice to the astonishing images of the universe from the Hubble Space Telescope and spacecraft like the Cassini orbit around Saturn," said Cox. Accompanied by the visuals, Cox will take audiences on a galactic mind-journey through black holes, infinite galaxies, seas of stars and potential habitable planets.

Cox will be joined on stage by his BBC Radio 4 co-host Robin Ince.

You might also know Brian Cox as the guy who gracefully, yet savagely took down One Nation senator and climate change denier Malcolm Roberts on ABC's Q&A (with graphs, of course).

Tickets for Prof Brian Cox Live (at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre) will go on sale Monday August 7, and are expected to sell out. To be the first to get tickets, register online.
