Time Out says

Be among the first to hear the LA-based rapper and producer play his latest album

With tracks like 'I Cannot F*cking Wait Til Morrissey Dies' and 'I Just Killed a Cop Now I'm Horny', it's pretty obvious that Jpegmafia isn't a believer in subtlety. The foundation of his music, which is primarily experimental hip-hop and noise rap, is the political beliefs that he wears like a badge of honour.

The release of Jpegmafia's hotly anticipated fourth album, LP!, was led by the release of the single 'Trust!', a track about self-love rapped over bright, glittering instrumentals. After listening, fans might be under the impression that the rest of the album will be similarly light and breezy. They'd be wrong. After the first track lulls the listener into a false sense of security, the rest of the album plays like a chaotic explosion of mortar shells.

Catch Jpegmafia when he takes the stage at Splendour in the Grass, or at the sideshow at 170 Russell in Melbourne on July 20. General public tickets go on sale from 9am on Monday, February 14 through the Moshtix website
