Perfectly messy '70s-esque rock siblings Lime Cordiale long ago captured our hearts with their Hottest 100 chart-topping hits, but it's been some time since they brought their tunes to Melbourne. Whether there’s been a 'Robbery', 'Inappropriate Behaviour' or some 'Risky Love', Oli and Louis Leimbach know how to live on the edge and turn some real raw relationships into groovy AF indie tunes.
After taking their sweet Aussie sound around the world, they're returning to their stomping ground with their Enough of the Sweet Talk Australia and New Zealand Tour. Rest assured – they’ll still keep the typical intimate atmosphere of their gigs, but they're shifting up a gear and into some of the biggest venues they’ve ever played. Here's what you need to know about Lime Cordiale's Melbourne show.
Lime Cordiale is hitting Australia and New Zealand in October, with one show only in Melbourne on Tuesday, October 8. They'll be playing a single massive show at Melbourne's John Cain Arena.
In addition to their Melbourne show, Lime Cordiale is also stopping in Perth, Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane. The band is also darting across the ditch to Dunedin, Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland, in that order.
If you’re a keen bean, the Frontier Touring presale begins on Tuesday, June 4, at 1pm. You have to be a member, but it’s free to sign up here. Tickets for the general public go on sale two days later – on Thursday, June 6, also at 1pm.
There will be both seated and standing tickets for the Lime Cordiale Melbourne tour. General admission standing tickets cost $130.10, with A reserve seated tickets the same price. B reserve seating is $110.10 and C reserve seating is $90.10.
Lime Cordiale will be supported by big-name band Ballpark Music in Melbourne, so we're in for a treat right from the start of the night. The Lime Cordiale brothers have called them “debatably the best band in the country”, so we'd recommend getting down early.
While presale tickets will be purchased via Frontier Touring, general public tickets can be purchased from Ticketek right here.
