Friday, August 10 marks national s’mores day – and while we’re pretty sure this holiday is about as unofficial as they come, we love any excuse to load up on gooey s’mores. So does the Langham, and the hotel is offering a s’mores afternoon tea experience to celebrate the occasion.
The Langham’s Melba restaurant is celebrating the dubiously legitimate (but delicious) national s’mores day by serving a bunch of madcap s’mores variations as part of its regular dinner buffet. If you’re familiar with the gooey chocolate biscuit sandwich, prepare to have your expectations raised – these aren’t the same simple s’mores you’ve enjoyed around the campfire.

On the Melba’s s’mores day menu there are cookie butter s’mores, roast berry s’mores, salted caramel s’mores and Oreo s’mores. The gooey marshmallow creations will be available for one day only during the dinner buffet on Friday, August 10.
