There’s something so special about fresh flowers. Very rarely do we get to visit flower fields (though there are some beautiful ones near Melbourne) so heading to one of Melbourne’s exclusive flower markets is one of the next best things.

These markets are usually closed to the public as only trade florists are able to browse selections and purchase flowers for their own businesses. But, if you’re keen to get a peek in, there’s one Melbourne tour company that’s offering you a behind the scenes look.

C the Market is your guide to Melbourne’s Wholesale Flower Market in Epping which covers flowers but also fruit and vegetables as well. This flower market is one of the main stockists for florists across the state, and if you head along on the guided tour, you’ll be able to purchase flowers for a fraction of the cost. Additionally, you’ll also get to learn about the wholesale market and chat directly with flower growers.

The flower market tours are run every Saturday morning at 5am and run for two hours. For more information, head to the website here.
