The Vibe Savoy will return to its former, glamorous heydays after undergoing a multimillion-dollar refurbishment. Located on the corner of Spencer and Little Collins streets, the hotel is being rebranded as the Savoy Hotel and is getting a swish new Art Deco fitout to go with it.

The new design is straight from the roaring 20s, with all 163 rooms at the hotel being upgraded with floor-length mirrors, custom carpets with period motifs, bathrooms with chequerboard floors, and plush furnishings in a dove grey, blue, white and charcoal.

The guest rooms aren’t the only part of the hotel getting revamped, with the lobby and restaurant getting a fresh facelift as well. Expect lots of timber finishes, smoked mirrors, leather and brass elements and custom carpets. The restaurant, named the Boardroom, will get a whole new interior that makes uses of the space’s 10-storey atrium.

The new-look art Art Deco Savoy Hotel will be unveiled this October.
