Two public holidays are just around the corner, and combined with the recent bursts of lovely springtime weather, we're in the mood for a long weekend by the ocean. But while Victoria's best beaches are still a little bit icy at this time of the year, the water is just right overseas.

Enter Scoot's hot new flight sale. The low-cost arm of Singapore Airlines has just dropped a flash sale on flights to tropical destinations across Asia, with flights from Melbourne starting at $200.

Wondering where you could go? Popular destinations like Bali, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam are all included in the sale, with discounted prices applying to two travel periods.

The first is for last-minute travellers, with discounted flights available from October 13 until November 19. During this time, cut-price routes include Melbourne to Singapore for $200, Melbourne to Denpasar (Bali) for $245 and Melbourne to Ho Chi Minh for $240. And if you’re keen to explore Thailand this spring, flights from Melbourne to Phuket and Bangkok start at $245.

If you want a little more lead time, you can check out the flights included in the second travel period, which runs from January 19, 2026, until March 17, 2026. During these dates, Melburnians can score cheap flights to Korea, Japan, Thailand and Vietnam, with flights from Melbourne to Incheon starting at $300, flights to Osaka starting at $325, flights to Chiang Rai starting at $295 and flights to Nha Trang starting at $240.

The sale has already kicked off and runs until Friday, September 26, so you’ll want to act fast if you’re keen to cash in.
