Vintage fashionistas in Melbourne are well acquainted with RetroStar. When you walk upstairs into the Nicholas Building boutique you’re quickly overwhelmed by the scale and scope of retro clothes available. The store stocks quality finds from the 1940s to the 1990s, and this weekend it's sweetening the deal with nothing over $10.

Head over to RetroStar’s Brunswick warehouse on Saturday, February 23 and Sunday, February 24 to trawl through more than 20,000 items of vintage clothing. Everything on the racks clocks in at either $5 or $10, so we expect there will be quite a few keen shoppers eager for a bargain.

The warehouse will be open from 8am until 5pm Saturday and Sunday with everything from retro denim skirts, soft knits, Nirvana-esque flannies, logo tees and vintage bags up for grabs. The sale is happening at RetroStar’s new Brunswick warehouse (2/17-19 Hope Street, Brunswick), so don’t head into the city by accident. Eftpos will be available, but there’s a $10 minimum.

The Imperial has transformed given its rooftop bar a magical makeover.
