Award-winning local cheesemaker That’s Amore Cheese is branching out into another delicious dairy product: gelato. The dairy queens at That’s Amore Cheese have announced the launch of a new sister brand, That’s Amore Gelato, just in time for summer.

Using natural ingredients and the same fresh milk that goes into the cheese, That’s Amore Gelato makes 18 different flavours of gelato. All the classic flavours like chocolate, vanilla and pistachio are available as well as some reimagined Italian favourites (hello tartufo flavour) and some very fancy flavours like lemon cheesecake, mascarpone with Nutella, and their own eponymous flavour, That’s Amore, which is white chocolate with crisp cereal.

The new gelato retailer will also stock a selection of (very cute) individually portioned gelato desserts. There’s the strawberry-shaped fragola (vanilla and strawberry mousse, wild berry coulis and chocolate puffed rice), the coffee bean-shaped chicco (coffee and vanilla mousse and hazelnut praline on a shortbread base) and the pinecone-shaped pigna (almond and chocolate mousse with a pistachio centre on shortbread). You can also score yourself a real tartufo (that is, an Italian ice cream truffle) in one of three flavours.
