As of December 23, we'll have to go elsewhere for Zombies, faux jungle plants and total tiki immersion. The LuWOW is closing its door for good.
To say 'Aloha Oe', The LuWOW is throwing a final party. The Gogo Goddesses, LuWOW's in-house gogo group, will host the event and Jumpin' Josh and Barbara Blaze will be spinning vinyl until close (expect everything from the '50s to to '80s as well as a mix of wonderfully obscure party gems).
The LuWOW's infamous cocktail offering will keep you well watered with $10 Mai Tais and a selection of Zombies, modelled closely on the original '30s recipe. The Island Village cocktail lounge opens at 5pm and the Forbidden Temple party room kicks off at 8pm and will keep the party pumping until 2am.
