James and Sarah Robbins, the husband and wife team behind Sydney’s Bar Luca and BL Burgers, are headed to Melbourne to serve up some of their famed burger creations at The Boatbuilders Yard in South Wharf.
This pop-up event will run from Friday April 7 to Sunday April 9 and is coinciding with BL Burger’s appearance at the the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival’s Burger Invitational.
Expect a handful of BL Burger’s best burgers, including the Blame Canada: a combo that includes a thick, pink-centred beef patty topped with maple-glazed streaky bacon, double American cheddar cheese, poutine (fries and cheese curds soaked in gravy) and maple aioli.
This mammoth creation recently won the coveted best burger gong at our Battle of the Burger comp, so you can take our word for it when we say it’s top notch.
